Friendship with Pakistan!

Pakistan is truly a blessed country. A major factor for growth of India, or any other country, is friendship with everyone.

But, the ceasefire violations at the Indo-Pak border have grown lately and a score of people have been killed on both the sides. The Indian media said Pakistan started the shelling, but Pakistan's media said India did. What is the reality? The ordinary people don't know!

The nation once was large

The outsiders were smart enough

Marred when they took its charge

The land now stands divided

Everything lies confided

Bullets of cries are traded often

Sending, daily, a soldier to coffin

The civilians of the countries too

Had their blood shed

There is no clue

About who all bled

Who all turned stew

And who all encountered dread

Their ancestors were once fellows

Today giving nothing other than bellows

With grenades, rifles and gun

What battle have you won?

What was their mistake?

What did they forsake?

Where did humanity go?

Why did the fight grow?

Pardon each other

Or a power will rule, yet another

Shake hands over the border

Take it as counsel or as order

Adore the nations

Make them wise

Better the relations

Make them realize

Let the fight cease

After all, wisdom lies in peace
