Bollywood needs a makeover?

Today, Indian films are having a widespread in many countries of the world! But, do they watch these movies? If we take example of US, do they watch our movies? Maybe, just the Indian Americans watch them? But, every American movie is watched and rated good by Indians. So, shouldn't we try to change the type of movies which we make?

Today, 70% of the Indian movies have the same story and same genre. Trying something different is what the Indian film industry doesn't want to do. Even the audience watches same type of films and doesn't get bore. The actors claim that they don't want to play same roles every time, but are they really not playing the same?

What happens in a typical Indian movie? A boy and a girl meet and work together but refuse to agree that they are in love, and then at the end, they propose a relationship. Isn't it what happens in every movie? At least, the idea of a relationship is put in every film. Even in the films where the plot is totally different, Indian movies prefer couples.

American movies are totally about different events and stories. I greatly appreciate them. So, why can't we have another mentality? Think of interesting movies, some different genre, instead of just action or romance. I have no connections with the Indian film industry, it is just what I want as audience - interesting and different movies!
